💡 Where Your Tuition Goes

The Village Cooperative Learning Center operates as a homeschool learning cooperative. By having parents remain on-site and rotate as volunteer teachers, we drastically reduce traditional overhead costs like heavy liability insurance and teacher salaries.

Your tuition goes directly toward:

High-Quality Supplies: All learning materials and class supplies are fully covered and factored into your monthly costs—meaning there are zero extra hidden program fees throughout the school year.
Professional Oversight & Training: Your fees cover teacher orientation, ongoing reflective training for volunteer parents, and lesson curriculum outlines provided by a NYS Certified Teacher. It also includes individualized quarterly student progress reports.
Specialized Instruction: For older students, tuition covers the cost of contracting specialized outside educators for advanced courses, such as Middle and High School math and science.
The Facility & Utilities: Keeping our learning spaces bright, safe, operational, and well-maintained throughout the year.
The WFH Parent Lounge & Workspace: Your tuition fully supports a dedicated co-working space geared entirely toward work-from-home parents. During your teaching or prep breaks, you can use our work desks to plug in your laptop and stay productive, or relax on our comfortable couches while enjoying a complimentary coffee and tea bar.

🪙 How Our Fundraising Component Works

We believe that high-quality, individualized education should be affordable. To lower out-of-pocket costs for everyone, The Village operates a community fundraising model:

The Goal: Throughout the year, we host community events, adult wellness nights, and local partnerships to bridge the gap between our "Fundraised Rate" and our "Standard Rate".
The Benefit: If our collective community fundraising milestones are hit, your family gets to enjoy the lower Fundraised Rate.
The Backup: If fundraising targets are not achieved, families are responsible for settling the remaining balance of the Standard Yearly Total at the close of the academic year.

At The Village Cooperative Learning Center, we believe in community-driven growth. To keep our programs affordable and leverage the incredible talents within our community, we are excited to open up unique bartering opportunities for our families and local professionals.

Current Projects Open for Barter:

🏗️ Finish our building's basement into a vibrant, multi-use indoor gym space for student socialization and physical education!

*These opportunities will come at the need of the center. Staff will maintain a priority list of projects and will be made available as long as primary expenses and cashflows are met. They will also have to be approved by the Real Estate Holding Company. *
